A Grateful Heart

When the Lord called Moses, he asked him, “What is that in your hand?” to which Moses replied “A staff,” in Exodus 4:2.

Similarly, when the Lord put in my heart that I should start a special learning center, in Kenya Africa, all I had was Christ and my passion for special needs. Not until I really dived into it, that I realized I had family and friends that the Lord had prepared who shared my passion. They too wanted to make a difference by giving hope to children with developmental disabilities in Kenya.

This fall, Ageno was blessed to collaborate with Kwitu to host a free breakfast. I had amazing ladies who planned, cooked, and served a mouthwatering breakfast. Thank you to Yvonne Ingari, Angela Asoa, Margretha Girvin, Sherri Rapp, Maria Diaz, and Mikaela Athieno. Your support is a great encouragement to me.

Thank you to the Kwitu DFW chapter who attended our Breakfast and collected donations to purchase all three water tanks and a little extra for our building project in Kenya.  Thank you to all our Ageno friends who came to enjoy the delicious breakfast and support our vision to build a facility in Kenya.
