Dorothy Oloo

Vice-Chair and Co-founder

Dorothy is a passionate Occupational Therapist and Co-founder of Ageno Community.

She relocated to the USA from Kenya in 2002.

In 1997, Dorothy welcomed a child with cerebral palsy who went to be with the Lord. Inspired by this experience, Dorothy made a promise to her late daughter, Riziki, and to her community, that she would one day make a difference in the lives of others facing similar challenges.

With a strong commitment to holistic, individualized therapy, Dorothy focuses on empowering children and their families through innovative strategies that foster development and independence. She believes in the transformative power of play and creativity as essential tools for growth. In addition to providing direct therapy, Dorothy is dedicated to mentoring aspiring therapists and advocating for inclusivity within the community. Her work is driven by a deep-seated belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dorothy enjoys traveling with family and friends, participating in mission trips, watching movies, volunteering at her church, and enriching her perspective as a therapist.
