As the Chair of the Board at Ageno, Yvonne leverages her audit and leadership experience to guide Ageno towards achieving its mission of providing a safe, respectful, and joyful environment for children with special needs. Under her leadership, Ageno strives to offer life enrichment opportunities and foster dignity, helping children grow in Christ. Yvonne is dedicated to realizing the organization’s vision of creating an inclusive environment where children with special needs are embraced as valued members of the community.

Yvonne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance degree from Kenyatta University in Kenya. She holds professional memberships as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas, as a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) in the United Kingdom, and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) in the United States. She is proficient in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
