Thank you to everyone who took part in our fundraising dinner.

On April 08, 2017, Ageno held a Spring Fundraising Dinner. Ageno was able to raise money to fund the upcoming one week Summer Training and Retreat in Kendu Bay, Kenya for parents of children with disabilities together with their children.

The fundraiser was graced by, among others, Darlene Blakey, Executive Director and Founder of Coventry Reserve, the organization that inspired the founding of Ageno and Greg Haynes, founder of Carry the Light Ministries which runs orphanages in Kenya.

Ageno would like to thank everyone who took part in this fundraising dinner. Thank you so much for your generosity.

During the Summer Training and Retreat we will be:

  • Assessing each child in order to develop individualized life skills enhancement programs.
  • Training parents on how to take care of their children with special needs,
  • Reviewing individualized life skills enhancement programs with the parents.
  • Engaging children in fun activities and giving their parents a break.

It costs $20 to host a family for one week. If you would like to sponsor a family, please let me know or you can donate directly from our home page.

Ageno is a 501 (c) 3 Organization.

It is Ageno’s goal to train parents of children with disabilities at least once every year to ensure that the skills learned through Ageno programs are supported at home when Ageno personnel are not available. Ageno’s objective is to contribute to changing the mindsets of communities in Kenya regarding children with special needs by helping such children gain the acceptance and support they need to be functioning members of the society.
